i don't know how today has gotten away from me, but it has. so, tomorrow before sundown i promise to post the give away and announce the winner.
this photo was actually NOT taken at sundown, but on a beautiful sunday morning a few weeks ago. this room continues to bring solace and the comfort you can only find at home. i am usually sitting on the bench under the window (behind where i am standing to take the photo), with b-mo next to me and a nice cup of coffee....letting the sun warm our spirits.
please note the simple and affordable ikea chairs adorning all the other geriatric objects and finds in the room.

we just got a couple of those same chairs. I think I have an exact match (or looks like it, at least) to one of the rugs under your table. Are there two (or more) combined there? Great look...
Love this photo...can almost feel it! I am heading to IKEA on Tuesday of next week w/ my sis in law... haven't been there in years...it is a 2.5 hour drive to the nearest store.... can't wait to spend the day there!!!

There's that glorious built-in I've only seen glimpses of...it's wonderful, as is the room...everything is perfect!
I love the high railing on the wall too and the table, and the floors and...I might as well just keep it at everything (but I want to go on and on)!
