drawers

all the drawers in this house are full of tid-bits that i can't seem to part with. not organized, just full of stuff. lots of junk drawers...isn't that what drawers are for?

today i started cleaning one out and these were a few of the thing's that have been tucked away, in a safe place and without use or frequent thought.

the orange box is one i just can't part with. my favorite chocolate spot in paris...it is empty and has been for 8 years, but i just can't let it go. same with the match box with a peach....and the key chain with key's i have no idea what they unlock....

so, i put them all back in the drawer where they came from and will figure out LATER where they should live. so, the hording continues.

i thought they would make a great little collection photo. see...they do have a purpose.

ah, brock street! I am on to you now....

so, it's in your drawers where you stash all of your color...

well, just be sure to let it out every now and then!

We just watched an episode of "hoarders" tonight and it's hightly doubtful that *you* fit into that catagory...your title would have to be "collector of tasteful sentimentals".

Wish I had a favorite chocolate spot in Paris...
xo (have a great week!)

can't wait to wade thru the stacks of newspapers when we visit... is there a path to b-mo?

i agree with j... you hardly fit into this category...

well friends, when you open the drawers around here...it really does feel like hoarding.

24 corners..you are right. sentiment gets me in my older age.

Pam's comment..."a path to b-mo" is cracking me up! Hope I can sleep now...
and I'm glad you said "older age" b...cuz *old age* thoughts AND hoarding thoughts would have me worried! ;)

Night...hopefully...still giggling!

I love the Ace Playing card notebook/wallet situation. I want something like that as a passport cover! I feel like stylish people always have leather passport covers so obviously, I need one.

It is evident you are a man of style by the fact that you have a favorite chocolate spot in Paris. How glamorous and yet minimalist, the life you lead.

24- you keep me on my heels laughing...thank you for always contributing in your humorous and thoughtful ways. its why i come back for me :)

rachel- its a small little notebook with the ace. isnt it priceless? leather too...and never been used. i'm gonna use it now...if it gets you seal of approval.
And, not glamorous at all....just a chocoholic who happened to travel to paris for work frequently. lucky, thats all ;o)
