who dinged the door

these doors couldn't get any better. if these doors were mine i might consider sanding them down and then giving them a fresh coat, but right now i love them as they are. ageless to me.

I like the wire mounting. It's a nice alternative.

beautiful. we just found some vintage heart pine doors that are almost completely stripped of white paint. gonna use them as my closet doors and can't wait. now the only question is: strip them totally down or leave a little of that lovely old white paint on them....

The doors are amazing! The heighth and detailing are as wonderful as the old chipped paint. I know if they were mine, the paint or not to paint question would be one that I'd ponder for a long time...and enjoy them tremendously while pondering!

johnnie- me too. i was actually thinking of trying that out myself. so many good alternatives these days, resin, knitted, wood...

perfect gray. what a fun project. i love the stripping process too...it is truly a labor of love.
i'm glad i do not have to make that decision for you. i would definitely try and hang the doors stripped down and see if you like them...live with em for a bit before you paint them. i imagine they will be stunning either way.

24, me too. i would be torn...just like donna. oh, the decisions in life. i wish all of them had such low impact as this would, but these are the decisions we can control in life :)
