at home any day

favorite thing: eating at home, with food prepared fresh at home. this way we know it is made with love, little processing....and clean. the older and wiser i get, the more i prefer eating at home than going out AND we can listen to public radio to boot (fresh air with terry gross)

spring night at home, going for the the usual wabi-sabi feel. really enjoy eating off the oval iron stone plates...it shakes it up a bit and keeps them in the constant rotation.

disclaimer. not saying i do not enjoy 95% of all dining is SF...i really do and it is not processed food and i believe much is made from love of local foods.

I love that you use a real napkin and that you don't iron it. Everything is perfect.

What time is dinner B...I'll bring the fig jam (and a treat for b-mo of course)!
xo J~

btw - all of our dinner plates are old oval restaurant ware plates...used daily...yours and your whole setting look like fine dining at it's very best...warm, inviting, personal and beautiful.

daryl- you are always so kind. lets just say i dabble in creating simple surroundings. i thrive while puttering and doing interiors. one of the only things that relaxes me these days. :)

urban cottage- it is all about the quality and ease. ironing is for people who have time or should i say make the time.

coast - just let me know when you are in town. the key is to get past bmo at the front door. if you can accomplish that, the rest will be a breeze.

24 corners - you name the time. i will always rally. fig jam is just up my alley too.

you too? i love the oval plates. you know.... none of them match and none are the same size, but they all like hanging out together. take some photo's one day...would love to see them. :)
