window, windows and hopefully a few more windows

here is another one of those photo's that reminds us of how important it is to invite nature inside our homes. i love it that this corner of the room is ALL window, and the most charming windows to boot. i would seriously sacrifice a little in the winter months to have a space like this (a little chill easily solved by a snuggie...hee).

the pair of chairs are so simple, but loaded with character and charm. i would have to double check and make sure they had their balance of down in the cushion though.

this has set the standard in the search for our weekend cabin.

ha, ha, ha! the snuggie was the office "hot" elephant gift this season and i threaten to get one for myself. i just cant go down that road. i agree, a fireplace and REAL wood.

hi sis! i will keep an eye out for that lamp....you never know around here. i have seen very similar at the antique mall. :)

Ohhh just look at all that lovely natural light! I would give my right arm for a room like this. You almost forget how much light changes the mood of a room until you see a shot like this and grow weak in the knees. Lovely.
