letting go

of this old wood box is something i can't do. this little box was filled with herbs from the herb farm near seattle in 1990. it has moved from seattle, to NYC to SF and still brings that wink of joy that comes with feeling anchored and home.

another priceless one.

Such a treasure! The Herb Farm was one of my favorite places to go before it burned and then relocated. Special items bring special memories.....

That beautiful wooden box has a long history with you and has developed its own personality - never let it go!

it's the little things in life that bring us our daily dose of joy.

your little wooden box makes me smile...and is that a succulent from our little magical shop...?

Hi Brock...I never ate there either, one of my huge life regrets. The new restaurant looks out of this world amazing but I think it's quite a bit "fancier". The old place had that rustic herby northwest charm. Kicking myself right now! ;)

PS. Your blog and is wonderful, love your asthetic. I'm in the last stages of building a house in Seattle and your site has been very inspirational as I'm getting to the "fun stuff" now. Thank you!
